OAT BARS WITH ROSE AND RASPBERRY JAM
INGREDIENTS:
for 9 pcs
1.5 tsp. oats
1.5 tsp. whole wheat flour
½ tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
125 g butter
1/8 tsp vanilla seeds
200 g Rosey’s Mark rose and raspberry jam or Rosey’s Mark rose jam
50 g fruit of choice (raspberries, blueberries)
50 g walnuts
RECIPE:
- Mix the oats, flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla in a bowl.
- Melt the butter and mix with the sugar.
- Add to the dry mixture and mix well.
- Transfer 2/3 of the mixture to a 20×20 cm baking tray, covered with baking paper.
- Press the mixture well and bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 160̊˚С.
- Once lightly browned, take out of the oven and spread the rose jam and fruit on top.
- The rest of the oat mixture is evenly distributed, without pressing, and everything is baked again for about 30-40 minutes until it gets golden brown.
- When ready, let cool completely and cut into squares.
